Hi, I am Jim Daisey, I’ve spent my lifetime on the water — over 30 years as a yacht captain, marine engineer, and now vessel management company owner. I founded Bristol Marine Services because I saw a gap: owner-operators of smaller boats in South Florida were either paying large-yacht management prices for services they didn’t need, or trying to manage everything themselves and falling behind.

Bristol Marine fills this gap. We provide hands-on, captain-led vessel management tailored to smaller boats and the people who actually run them. I hold a USCG 1600 Gross Ton Master license. I’ve turned wrenches, run engine rooms, crossed oceans, and managed every system on a boat from fuel to electronics. When I inspect your vessel or coordinate a repair, I’m not reading from a checklist someone else wrote — I’m drawing on decades of real-world experience.
